NEVER too late to be on TIME — learn the power rhythm has on any instrument. At Community Drums, we believe in one simple aspect of music: If you can learn three chords, you’ll play a song — But if you can learn a rhythm, you’ll bring the song to life.
Join one of our group sessions, and we’ll set you up with perfectly “timed” exercises that will explore your rhythm as well as your melody.
DRUMLINE BOOTCAMP
Ages 16+ / 8-weeks / $175
Victoria’s only ‘drum corps’ chops-builder class for all drummers — work on your rudiments, exercise your hands, build endurance and precision! Whether you’re a
kit player or marching drummer, you’ll boost your speed, gain finesse, and learn to play as a group on snare drums! Must have basic knowledge of drum rudiments to enroll. Level is intermediate & advanced.
UKE 2.0!
Ages 16+* / 8-weeks / $175
Victoria’s most FUN place to learn ukulele! Refresh your chords, learn new ones, and make your uke sing with awesome strumming exercises! *Open to beginners and repeat strummers. (Want to join us on another strumming instrument? Bring it along!)
HUMP-DAY HANGOUT JAM
Ages 18+* / 8-weeks / $150
Our brand-new jam class added upon request! Ready to join a band? Join us for an hour of stage-time playing tunes on any instrument. Drums, mics, piano/keys & PA system provided Bring your own hand-held instruments.
*Drop-in (must RSVP) $20. WEDNESDAYS 730-830pm
RHYTHM 101
Ages 18+* / 8-weeks / $175
Open to any adults who would like to learn how to keep a beat! Learn on various hand drums, drum kit, percussion and even bucket drums! Learn all about basic rhythm styles on your most favourite songs. 100% pure fun.
*Courses may change due to availability and class interest.
